Simon Spurr Spring 2011 is about refinement. Here is a designer that went all out with exquisitely made clothes, sumptuous leathers and beautiful fabrics and finishes. For spring 2011 many collections feature slouchy looks, but Simon Spurr bucked that trend by churning out perfectly tailored suits and blazers, trim pants and classic shirts among other items. A sweet story about Dairy milk

Cadbury's launched its first Dairy Milk bar, with a higher proportion of milk than previous chocolate bars, and it becomes the company's best selling product by 1913. George Cadbury Jnr, responsible for the development of the bar, has said "All sorts of names were suggested: Highland Milk, Jersey and Dairy Maid. But when a customer’s daughter suggested Dairy Milk, the name stuck.". Fruit and Nut was introduced as part of the Dairy Milk line in 1928, soon followed by Whole Nut in 1933. By this point, Cadbury's was the brand leader in the United Kingdom. In 1928, Cadbury's introduced the "glass and a half" slogan to accompany the Dairy Milk bar. Cadbury made Dairy Milk into a family brand by taking existing brands — Caramel, Wispa, Fruit & Nut, and Whole Nut — and marketing them as Dairy Milk sub-brands; for example Wispa was phased out and replaced by "Dairy Milk Bubbly". The Dairy Milk brand was also introduced as an endorsement brand on children's products such as Cadbury Buttons and Freddo. At this time the entire Cadbury Dairy Milk range was given a packaging revamp (along with all other Cadbury brands) incorporating a new "swirl" around the Cadbury signature logo; the company name had also recently been changed from "Cadbury's" to "Cadbury". By there were fifteen Dairy Milk sub-brands produced in the UK, including Shortcake Biscuit, Wafer, Orange Chips, Mint Chips, Crispies, and Creme Egg. In the subsequent two years, however, the majority of these new sub-brands proved unsuccessful and were discontinued. "Apricot Crumble Crunch" and "Cranberry and Granola" were released as new Dairy Milk variants.The current UK range consists of Dairy Milk, Caramel, Fruit & Nut, Whole Nut, Turkish, Double Choc, Apricot Crumble Cr,Following a trial in October 2007, the "Cadbury Wispa" brand was re-introduced in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. In spring 2009, following the success of the Wispa relaunch as an individual product brand, Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel was relaunched, with the "Caramel" name re-emphasised as the main on-pack brand, and the "Dairy Milk" brand de-emphasised. The iconic "Caramel bunny" was re-introduced during this period with the slogan "Still got it". The rest of the Cadbury range is slowly being revamped with new or refreshed packaging as part of this reduction in emphasis on the Dairy Milk brand and the reintroduction of individual product brands. Simultaneously, Cadbury have also introduced a new look Dairy Milk logo and reintroduced the gold "Cadbury" logo, reminiscent of the logo prior to the "swirled" Cadbury logo of 2003. In the 1970's standard issue which are a form of cargo pants, were very popular with young adults who began purchasing them from Army Surplus stores. A similar style also purchased from surplus stores at the time, was carpenter's pants, or pants, commonly called worker's pants. These utility pants have all the pockets of cargo pants, but are less tailored in the leg and lack flaps on the rear pockets. Utility pants also have a twisted loop at the side, which is used by painters to slip in a paintbrush handle, or a hammer, for construction workers. Inspired by the grass-roots popularity of these pants, Levis & created "bush jeans" in the 1970's a precursor to today's cargo pants. These were straight-legged jeans with large thigh-length side-entry pockets that had smaller square front-facing pockets with snap-down flaps. The back pockets were also deep with snap-down flaps. The main difference between these pants and today's cargo pants is that bush jeans were very slimming, while most cargo pants today have a baggy cut.Cargo pants are so named because of their ability to carry so much "cargo" in the pockets. The style became so popular that cargo shorts soon followed.

A Basic Story Of Indian Films

At the turn of this century, when the country was poised for major social and political reforms, a new entertainment form dawned in India-the Cinema. The first exposure to motion pictures which India received was in 1896, when the Lumiere Brothers' Chinematographe unveiled six soundless short films at Watson Hotel, Esplanade Mansion, Bombay on July 7. And the first exposing of celluloid in camera by an Indian and its consequent screening took place in 1899, when Harishchandra Bhatvadekar (Save Dada) shot two short films and exhibited them under Edison's projecting kinetoscope. Hiralal Sen and F.B. Thanawalla were two other Indian pioneers engaged in the production of short films in Calcutta and Bombay in 1900. Around 1902, J.F. Madan and Abdullah Esoofally launched their career with Bioscope shows of imported short films. In 1912 , N.G. Chitre and R.G. Torney made a silent feature film Pundalik which was released on May 18, and it was half British in its make. Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, more generally known as Dada Saheb Phalke was responsible for the production of India's first fully indigenous silent feature film Raja Harishchandra which heralded the birth of the Indian film industry. The film had titles in Hindi and English and was released on May 3, 1913 at the Coronation Cinema, Bombay. In 1917, Bengal saw the birth of its first feature film-Satyabadi Raja Harishchandra made by Madan's Elphinstone Bioscope Company. In Madras, the first feature film of South India Keechaka Vadham was made by Nataraja Mudaliar in 1919.
